Our private range affords us a lot of flexibility to teach curriculum that isn't allowed at public ranges. The shoot house provides realistic scenarios for defensive training!

We are located in Osceola Missouri, and can host courses, or travel to your location for a private course. Just contact us for more information!

Jeff currently holds National Rifle Association instructor certifications in pistol, rifle, shotgun, metallic reloading, chief range officer, personal protections in the home, personal protections outside the home, law enforcement handgun, law enforcement shotgun, and RTBAV. Additional training and certifications in CQB, low light, tandem and team operations, high risk entry, ASP restraints, ASP Baton, security, and less-lethal (TASER C2/X26C/X26E/X2 Instructor)

His training is put in to practice on a constant basis while consulting with home and business owners to find and rectify any security weakness. The experience he has gained is put to use in his training courses so that others will not commit similar mistakes. As a fugitive agent in the State of Missouri, he works with a specialized group of agents from across the state apprehending fugitives. This work can be high risk, and puts every bit of training and experience to the test. That same experience is re-applied to any professional courses he teaches.

As the chief curriculum developer Jeff develops all training materials for personal defense, as well as state mandated training for POST and Professional Registration.

Jeff has been married to Michelle for the passed 19 years, with 4 children.

Prior to becoming a certified instructor, Michelle was a part time range officer during basic firearms classes. In the last 5 years she has earned NRA certifications in handgun, rifle, shotgun, RTBAV, and chief range officer. She recently acquired instructor ratings in ASP Handcuff, AED instructor, CPR Instructor, and Primary care instructor. She is an integral part of our training curriculum, in particular our women's courses. Her perspective during our defensive handgun and concealed carry classes is invaluable.

She currently holds an active license by the State of Missouri for nationally registered EMT and serves an integral roll in our tactical medical and first aid training. One of her most critical functions that have never been used, is medical attention on the range.

As an active bail agent, she is no stranger to dynamic situations, and she puts her training to the test, on a constant basis. She doesn't teach just from a book, her experiences in dynamic entry and fugitive seizure also influence her training.

Michelle has been married to Jeff for 19 years, with 4 kids and has a unique perspective on firearms and the family life.

While obtaining his EMT license Derek became interested in firearms and training. Although he has only been training for 3 years, his perfection and technique are very well developed. Derek serves as a secondary range officer during our courses and is also a provider of first aid for the range, if it were ever needed. His professional career has developed in the private security sector, where he is an active security officer for a large corporation, and does private security consulting on his own time.

Derek is currently national certified as an EMT in the State of Missouri. He is currently enrolling in the CSU police academy, and pursuing a degree in criminal justice.

Anything and everything

Growing more frustrated with the restrictions at public ranges, we had constructed a small range of our own, to hold courses.

While it served it's purpose it still didn't provide an adequate place for our former students to return to for practicing the skills they had paid money to learn.

Over the fall of 2009 and winter of 2010 we started building a new range. It was larger than our old one (now 30 yards by 60 yards) had berms on 4 sides, and the ground was covered with gravel. One berm was removed for more rifle/carbine shooting, and to extend the shoot house area.

The range as of today has been used for all kinds of scenarios and training, from basic handgun/rifle courses to high risk entry.

Knowing that there is a shortage of practical handgun ranges in the southwest Missouri area, we allow all former students, and most CCW holders to drill and practice on our range under supervision. This is to allow the armed citizens in the area to maintain their defensive skill set, and to put into practice those skills they have worked hard at and paid money to learn. You do NOT have to be a former student of TACC or GPS to practice on our range.

This range was constructed solely with private funds, and with the help of my entire family. We did not construct this range to make a pile of money. We did it with the sole purpose in mind of providing excellent training to our customers, and allowing all citizens to become safe responsible carriers of firearms. Even though you do not know me or my family, we had your best interest in mind over the year we built this range.
