This course will earn you a certificate of training for a Missouri concealed weapons permit, as well as 8 hours of CEU's. It is a basic firearms course, similar to the standard CCW course, with the addition of a review of State and Federal Law. The curriculum for this course is specifically different than that of the standard Missouri CCW course. This course is intended for licensed professionals who must earn CEU's to maintain their license.

Course length is 12-14 hours. DO NOT BRING LIVE AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM!

You will need to bring:

• Semi-Automatic handgun of your choice (We have loaners available)
• Revolver handgun of your choice (We have loaners available)
• Minimum 140 rounds of ammunition
• Eye protection rated z-71 or z-87 (Check the lens or frame for z-71 or z-87, we have loaners)
• Hearing protection of -26 db (Check the instructions for noise reduction, we have loaners)

• Use of force during an arrest
• Federal and State firearms law
• Basic firearms safety
• Handgun selection
• Functionality of semi-automatics and revolvers
• Safe handling of a handgun
• Marksmanship fundamentals
• Care and cleaning
• Safe storage in the home
• Ammunition choices
• Live fire exercise
• Qualification
• Malfunction drills and weapon transitions
• Use of cover
• Basic room clearing
• Low light

Completion of this course will qualify an applicant for a Missouri, Florida, Arizona, or Maine concealed carry permit.

This course does qualify for CEU required by Missouri Department of Professional Registration.
